‘Understanding My Autism’ Programme.

I have started delivery of another online programme of Understanding My Autism for adults recently diagnosed in later life (over 50) with my colleague Lynsey Stewart-Martin. 

This will be the 4th cohort of the 6-week programme and great to be meeting a new group of people.

It is funded by the Scottish Government’s Autistic Adult Support Fund and is part of a national programme of projects to improve post-diagnosis support.  

Whilst there is a level of standard information exchange in any post diagnosis programme, targeting this to people who have lived most of their lives without the self-understanding a diagnosis can bring adds a very particular dimension to the conversations we have.
