Monday morning.

A LinkedIn post reminded me that I don’t suffer from the Monday morning dread now.

After many years of feeling like Eeyore why not?

  • I work for myself…no arrogant, small-minded boss any more!

  • I can choose the work I do…for me, it has to be worthwhile and useful to someone

  • My enthusiasm for autism knowledge and sharing ideas is unrestricted

  • The people I choose to work with, have good values, are positive and fun

  • No more KPIs or pointless meetings

  • My commute to the bottom of the garden is a pleasure even when it’s raining

  • Spud the Spaniel can come to work with me

I know that the years of Monday morning blues were the price to pay to get to this happy place. But having had a countdown to retirement for years on my iPad, I have too many new ideas to deliver before I think about that again.

What about you? Tell me here.
